The objective of the thesis is to explore the concept of quality and its correlation with curricula, teaching effectiveness, research, student services, and infrastructure. Additionally, this study aims to compare global practices with local approaches and highlight evaluation techniques.
The thesis is structured into four sections: defining quality in education systems and subsystems, quality strategies and practices in higher education, and their comparative analysis. The study concludes with a discussion and recommendations.
</efrbr-expression:summarizationOfContent><efrbr-expression:summarizationOfContent>Η διατριβή διερευνά την πολύπλευρη έννοια της ποιότητας στην τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση τόσο σε διεθνές όσο και σε εθνικό επίπεδο, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την έμφαση στην τήρηση και εφαρμογή προτύπων ποιότητας και τη διαπίστευση προπτυχιακών και μεταπτυχιακών προγραμμάτων. Στόχος της διατριβής είναι να διερευνήσει την έννοια της ποιότητας και τη συσχέτισή της με τα προγράμματα σπουδών, την αποτελεσματικότητα της διδασκαλίας, την έρευνα, τις υπηρεσίες φοιτητών και τις υποδομές. Επιπλέον, αυτή η μελέτη στοχεύει να συγκρίνει τις παγκόσμιες πρακτικές με τις τοπικές προσεγγίσεις και να αναδείξει τεχνικές αξιολόγησης. Η διατριβή διαρθρώνεται σε τέσσερις ενότητες: ορισμός της ποιότητας σε εκπαιδευτικά συστήματα και υποσυστήματα, στρατηγικές και πρακτικές ποιότητας στην τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση και στη συγκριτική ανάλυσή τους.
