Τα τελευταία χρόνια, η ανάγκη για καθαρές, ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας έχει καταστεί προτεραιότητα, λόγω των περιβαλλοντικών και κοινωνικών επιπτώσεων των παραδοσιακών μορφών ενέργειας. Η πτυχιακή αυτή εργασία ασχολείται με την ανάπτυξη μιας παραγωγικής μονάδας βιοντίζελ 3ης γενιάς και ενός υβριδικού σταθμού ενέργειας στην Ανατολική Κρήτη. Το κύριο αντικείμενο της εργασίας είναι η μελέτη της δυνατότητας παραγωγής βιοντίζελ από μικροάλγη και η εφαρμογή ενός υβριδικού σταθμού ενέργειας, που συνδυάζει ανεμογεννήτριες, φωτοβολταϊκά συστήματα και γεννήτριες ντίζελ, προκειμένου να καλύψει τις ενεργειακές ανάγκες της εγκατάστασης. Η εργασία περιλαμβάνει την ανάλυση της τεχνολογίας, την οικονομική αξιολόγηση, την ανάλυση SWOT και την περιβαλλοντική επίδραση που επιφέρει το σύνολο της επιχείρησης. Το παρόν έργο αποσκοπεί στην κατανόηση των δυνατοτήτων και προκλήσεων που σχετίζονται με την υλοποίηση μιας τέτοιας επένδυσης στην Κρήτη, εξετάζοντας παράλληλα τις πιθανές επιπτώσεις στην τοπική οικονομία, την απασχόληση και το περιβάλλον. Επιπλέον, η εργασία εξετάζει το κανονιστικό πλαίσιο και τις πολιτικές υποστήριξης που επηρεάζουν την υλοποίηση και τη λειτουργία τέτοιων εγκαταστάσεων στην Ελλάδα. Η παρούσα εργασία είναι αποτέλεσμα εντατικής έρευνας και ανάλυσης, με στόχο να παρέχει μια ολοκληρωμένη και επιστημονικά τεκμηριωμένη προσέγγιση στο θέμα. Ελπίζουμε ότι θα αποτελέσει μια χρήσιμη βάση για περαιτέρω έρευνα και συζήτηση στον τομέα της βιώσιμης ενέργειας και της παραγωγής βιοκαυσίμων, καθώς και ένα οδηγό για τη λήψη αποφάσεων σε επίπεδο πολιτικής και επενδύσεων. The purpose of this thesis is to develop an effective business plan for the optimal growth and establishment of a biodiesel production unit using Renewable Energy Sources (RES) for the consumed energy. The main goal of the business plan is the produced biodiesel and its by-products to capture a significant share of the conventional fuel market in the primary and secondary sectors of the economy. An equally important goal is to highlight the significance of "green" investments, as the overall business plan from the perspective of the produced products, raw materials, and the energy consumption by the production unit aims to minimize the environmental footprint. In the context of this thesis, the design of the production unit, the production method of the product (biodiesel and by-products), as well as the method of energy extraction using RES, are analyzed. Furthermore, economic research on the market for raw materials and the mechanical equipment required for the production process is presented and analyzed. Additionally, a well-targeted Marketing Plan is presented to make the business plan competitive in the market. A quantitative methodology is applied, along with an analysis of all economic factors, such as investment costs, expenses, and depreciation of the investment for three possible scenarios: expected situation, optimistic scenario, and pessimistic scenario. Finally, a SWOT analysis is applied to the conclusions of the results of all the methods used, aiming at a well-defined analysis of the internal and external environment of the business. The results of the business plan analysis are expected to be positive and lead prospective investors to implement the business plan and consequently achieve their own profit.
