Η εργασία αυτή εμβαθύνει στην περίπτωση του ιστορικού κέντρου του Ναυπλίου, όπου έχοντας μελετήσει τη μακραίωνη ιστορική και πολεοδομική πορεία του γίνεται μία κριτική στις αποφάσεις που πάρθηκαν και διαμόρφωσαν τη σημερινή του μορφή. Στη συνέχεια ακολουθεί η δική μου πολεοδομική πρόταση, η οποία βασίζεται στις θεωρητικές πρακτικές προστασίας και ανάδειξης των ιστορικών κέντρων, καθώς και σε επιτυχημένα παραδείγματα που έχουν εφαρμοστεί σε ιστορικά κέντρα ευρωπαϊκών χωρών, επιφέροντας θετικά αποτελέσματα στο πέρασμα των αιώνων.
