Πιο συγκεκριμένα, επιχειρεί την ανάπλαση όλης της έκτασης όπου άλλοτε βρισκόντουσαν τα λατομεία ΛΑΤΟ και ΚΕΚΡΩΨ. Η μελέτη βασίζεται στο διαχωρισμό της έκτασης σε τρεις επιμέρους ενότητες. Η μία εξ' αυτών καταλαμβάνει το ψηλότερο υψομετρικά τμήμα και στοχεύει στην ανάδειξη του «σεληνιακού» και απόκοσμου τοπίου, με το σχεδιασμό ενός βιωματικού περιπάτου και κύριο σχεδιαστικό κριτήριο την προβολή των έντονων εξάρσεων των λόφων, που είναι αποτέλεσμα των πρώην εξορυκτικών δραστηριοτήτων. Στην ενότητα αυτή προτείνεται να τοποθετηθούν κάποιοι κτιριακοί όγκοι με χρήσεις πολιτισμού και αναψυχής. Οι άλλες δύο ενότητες τοποθετούνται εκατέρωθεν της πρώτης και στοχεύουν στην αναδάσωση δύο τμημάτων του ξερού τοπίου και στην απόδοσή τους ως πάρκα στους γειτνιάζοντες δήμους. Αποτελούν παράλληλα, τις δύο κεντρικές πύλες για ολόκληρη την έκταση και αποσκοπούν στη δημιουργία ενός πιο φυσικού τοπίου, με τη χρήση του πρασίνου, του υγρού στοιχείου, των μονοπατιών αλλά και κάποιων ελαφρών κατασκευών, που δύναται να υποστηρίξουν τις χρήσεις που προτείνονται (θέατρο, ανοιχτή αγορά, παρατηρητήρια, χώροι συναυλιών και αθλητικών δραστηριοτήτων).
