Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο της εργασίας, γίνεται μια προσπάθεια ορισμού της ευρύτερης έννοιας του συστήματος ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας, και στη συνέχεια πιο συγκεκριμένα των δικτύων διανομής, όσον αφορά στο περιεχόμενό τους, αλλά και στον τρόπο λειτουργίας τους.
Στη συνέχεια, θα αναλυθεί ο τρόπος με τον οποίο θα πρέπει να γίνει η επαναδιαμόρφωση των δικτύων διανομής ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας, με σκοπό τη βέλτιστη αποκατάσταση της λειτουργίας τους. Θα γίνει αναφορά στους βασικούς τύπους σφαλμάτων αλλά και στους στόχους επαναδιαμόρφωσης προκειμένου να είναι εφικτή η αποκατάσταση της λειτουργίας τους.
Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο, θα πραγματοποιηθεί η ανάλυση προβλήματος ενός μοντέλου ροής, το οποίο βασίζεται στη βέλτιστη επαναδιαμόρφωση των δικτύων διανομής ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας για αποκατάσταση λειτουργίας, βασιζόμενο στη χρήση λογισμικού, με σκοπό τη βέλτιστη αναδιάταξη τοπολογίας δικτύων διανομής.
Στο επόμενο κεφάλαιο, θα μιλήσουμε γενικότερα για τη βελτιστοποίηση και στη συνέχεια θα παρουσιάσουμε την αντικειμενική συνάρτηση, τις μεταβλητές ελέγχου, καθώς και τους περιορισμούς του προβλήματος.
