Κατανοώντας και σχεδιάζοντας την διαδικασία παραγωγής και με την βοήθεια της μεθοδολογίας μοντελοποίησης και προσομοίωσης με ΔίκτυαPetri (Petri Nets) κατέστη εφικτό να αναπαρασταθεί την προς εξέταση γραμμή παραγωγής. Έπειτα υλοποιήθηκε μια σειρά προβλέψεων με την χρήση εναλλακτικών μαθηματικών μοντέλων και εργαλεία πρόβλεψης που χρησιμοποιούνται διεθνώς. Έτσι είχαμε την δυνατότητα πρόβλεψης μηνιαίας παραγωγής του έτους 2016.

Στο τρίτο κύριο μέρος χρησιμοποιήθηκε γραμμικός προγραμματισμός για την κατανομή της μηνιαίας παραγωγής προϊόντων της γραμμής, που ως αποτέλεσμα θα αποφέρει το μέγιστο κέρδος στην εταιρία. Η μοντελοποίηση και επίλυση του γραμμικού προβλήματος έγινε χρησιμοποιώντας το εξειδικευμένο λογισμικό Lingo.

Στο τελευταίο μέρος της εργασίας πραγματοποιείται ανακεφαλαίωση όλων των παραπάνω.
