This sector demands that mobile users (i.e. roaming users using mobile phones, PDAs, etc) have access to accurate real-time location-based services that are inherently distributed throughout the web. Such are traffic information, geo-reference, routing, or mapping services that are usually offered as web services. Thus, there is the need for a service network for the infomobility sector, which integrates electronic services for mobile users as well as it caters for services personalization. This issue was addressed using agent technology in the context of the IST project Im@gine IT.
