Κρήτη Πλήρης Δημοσίευση σε Συνέδριο Conference Full Paper 2015-10-302010enelIn this study, using GIS, an information system for the gorge of Agia Eirini is organized and the morphometric parameters of the drainage network, were studied. Quantitative analysis of the channel network was performed. The morhometric parameters, concerning the creation and growth of the drainage network i.e. the deviations of the stream number and length according to Horton laws, the drainage frequency and density and finally the direction (azimuth) of the channels, were studied and evaluated. The direction of channels was represented in rose-diagrams and compared with the general direction of the faults in the region.
