The FINEVA system combines an expert system, a multivariate statistical method (principal components analysis), and the multicriteria method UTA (UTilités Additives), to provide interactively, estimations concerning the performance and the viability of firms. The integration and the complete interaction of these parts are the basic characteristics of the system.
