For this purpose, the current study aims at assessing the seismic response of reinforced soil structures, by calculating the seismic displacements via dynamic analyses of simple coupled single degree of freedom (SDOF) models. These models have been successfully applied in seismic slope stability analyses after being properly modified to account for the reinforcement. The impact of the flexibility of the sliding system, the stiffness of the geosynthetic material and the interface shear strength were investigated.
