Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία γίνεται μια πρώτη προσέγγιση προσομοίωσης της παραγωγής βιογενούς σχιστολιθικού αερίου (shale gas) με τη χρήση υδραυλικής ρωγμάτωσης. Η προσομοίωση αφορά εκμετάλλευση σχιστολιθικού ταμιευτήρα με πολλαπλές γεωτρήσεις από την ίδια επιφανειακή θέση. Σκοπός τηε εργασίας είναι να βρεθεί η βέλτιστη διάταξη των γεωτρήσεων για τη μέγιστη παραγωγή αερίου και να μελετηθούν οι τυχόν αλληλεπιδράσεις των διατάξεων των γεωτρήσεων παραγωγής.
