Δημιουργία εφαρμογών Διπλωματική Εργασία Diploma Work 2014-05-282014elThe object of this work is a comprehensive study of the structure of social equipment of the Municipal Unit of Akrotiri in Chania , Crete . The term social equipment has been modified from its classical meaning for the purposes of the thesis, to present in the best possible way the level of organization of the study area. Thus, all sites included both to public and private sectors which serve the needs of citizens and try to improve their quality of life . In the first stage of the study, there were examined several areas that outline the study area such as geography, history, culture and demographics. Furthermore, there were considered all main characteristics of the natural and human environment which are a key criterion for creating infrastructure projects. Even on integrated approach to work is not missing the signs and facilities such as industrial plants, hotels and restaurants which may be a source of environmental pollution. The environmental study of the area has been a key driver to the following conclusions. In the second stage of the study was detailed inventory of existing social equipment using both data from the habitat agendas’ study, as well as data collected by public bodies and the internet. The next step of the study was to record and digitize above ultimately resulting composition 12 maps that record with fidelity and accuracy all collected data. For the construction of the maps was used the ArcGIS 10.1 Desktop software which is the most updated version of the software used in GIS. Then, using the tools of GIS, some of the data was modeled on the surface of the Earth with the realistic way that offers the google earth. The connectivity of geographical information systems with new and popular tools is a field of research and study by many scientists. Also, for recording the social equipment there was used another tool distributor of GIS, the ArcGIS on-line. This product is distributed free of charge to users of the site of esri and enables the creation of online maps. These maps differ from those made by the GIS Desktop, as they can be integrated into geographic data images, captions, descriptions and electronic site links. So the work conducted becomes immediately more manageable and more accessible not only to the scientific public, but also to ordinary users. Finally, in the context of use of ArcGIS on line version, a web map application was created that includes the entire social equipment of MU of Akrotiri and is ready for use in mobile phones, computers and websites. The last stage of work evaluates the social structures of the region and examines whether they satisfy the needs of the population. Charts and statistical results illustrate both the location of units and the radius of influence for service population. In conclusion, recommendations for improvement cited impending development and upgrading of the area. Η παρούσα διπλωματική ασχολείται με την καταγραφή του κοινωνικού εξοπλισμού της ΔΕ Ακρωτηρίου ,Χανίων , Κρήτης. Στον όρο του κοινωνικού εξοπλισμού περιλαμβάνονται όλες οι δημόσιες και ιδιωτικές μονάδες , οι οποίες στοχεύουν στη αναδειξη της ποιότητας ζωής των κατοίκων της περιοχής μελέτης. Δηλαδή με τη βοήθεια του GIS έχουν κατασκευαστεί θεματικοί χάρτες οι οποίοι απεικονίζουν ανά ενότητα τις ιατροφαρμακευτικές, τις εκπαιδευτικές, τς αθλητικές, τις τουριστικές μονάδες και πολλές ακόμα που απαντώνται στη περιοχή.
