         </efrbr-expression:formOfExpression><efrbr-expression:dateOfExpression type="issued">2025-07-08</efrbr-expression:dateOfExpression><efrbr-expression:dateOfExpression type="published">2025</efrbr-expression:dateOfExpression><efrbr-expression:languageOfExpression vocabulary="iso639-1">el</efrbr-expression:languageOfExpression><efrbr-expression:summarizationOfContent>Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία πραγματεύεται το φαινόμενο της μικροκατοίκησης από την εμφάνισή της μέχρι τη σύγχρονη εποχή, μέσα από αρχιτεκτονικά παραδείγματα της Νέας Υόρκης, όπου την τελευταία πενταετία διεξάγονται οι μεγαλύτεροι αρχιτεκτονικοί διαγωνισμοί για Tiny Houses. Η αστικοποίηση, η οικονομική κρίση, οι μεταναστευτικές και προσφυγικές ροές και η κλιματική αλλαγή αποτελούν κάποιες από τις βασικότερες αιτίες για τις οποίες μία τέτοια τάση εξελίσσεται σήμερα. Η ‘συρρίκνωση’ μίας κατοικίας, σε λίγα μόλις τετραγωνικά, καθώς και οι διαφορετικές ανάγκες που γεννιούνται με την πάροδο του χρόνου, καθιστούν απαραίτητη τη δημιουργία πολυλειτουργικών επίπλων, που είναι δυναμικά στον χώρο. Ωστόσο, το χαρακτηριστικό της προσαρμοστικότητας και της ευελιξίας δεν περιορίζεται μόνο στον εξοπλισμό και τη δομή ενός διαμερίσματος, αλλά μπορεί να επεκταθεί και σε διάφορους τομείς, όπως είναι τα δίκτυα και οι παροχές αυτού, εξετάζοντας ακόμα και τις δυνατότητες εξέλιξης τους μελλοντικά. Επιπλέον, ο επαναπροσδιορισμός του χώρου διαβίωσης και πιο συγκεκριμένα το φαινόμενο της μικροκατοικίας θα απασχολήσουν στο μέλλον τα αστικά κέντρα και όχι μόνο, ίσως με μια πιο σύγχρονη μορφή.
