This research paper aims to investigate and highlight some characteristics that are a prerequisite for a deeper understanding of the relationship between man and the space that surrounds him. It refers, that is, to some themes that make clearer or consolidate the relationship, man-environment. Particular emphasis, however, is placed on childhood. How can a child perceive a world that is constructed by an adult? How does he experience it according to his developmental stages and senses? If these senses may not fall under a neurotypical framework, does this fact affect the perception of the surrounding space?
