Workload management is a critical factor ensuring optimal efficiency, productivity and organization in workplace. For the academic staff, this sector includes Universities. This necessitates automation, user-friendly workload management, and detailed data collection for drawing conclusions. In this work, we analyze the design, the implementation, and the evaluation of a system that was created for managing the workload of professors and their collaborators at Technical University of Crete. The system was developed to assist instructors through the capabilities it offers. This thesis proposes a web application for assigning and scheduling activities related to university courses. It offers the instructor the ability to insert the learning activities associated with their courses in a modern approach and distribute them to their collaborators. Furthermore, there are options available for exporting the detailed workload and for graphical representation. Also, for an improved scheduling of the individual program, each teacher can view the total workload of their collaborators as derived from the total number of courses they are involved in. Through the system, the instructors and their collaborators may also evaluate students as well as keep a record of the previous grades.
