This paper presents a prediction model based on fuzzy logic techniques, and more specifically the ANFIS model. The proposed model is used on three energy sources. These are, crude oil, coal and natural gas. In particular, the daily closing spot prices of each source are taken as a basic criterion for the creation of fuzzy logic rules. Finally, the results of the model are compared with the results of an AR and an ARMA model to evaluate the reliability of the proposed model.
