The labor market on a global scale has been recovering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and since its advent a few terms have appeared that were not used or were known in the past. Resonant examples of these terms are "Silent Resignation" and "Silent Dismissal" terms that have entered the modern workplace. In many countries there has been a sharp increase in the number of people leaving their jobs. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a major driver of today's changes in the way people think about work. In 2021, a fifth of employees still say they plan to resign in the coming period in search of greater job satisfaction and better pay. Many young employees are increasingly looking for flexibility and purpose in their work, continuing to work but not allowing work to control their lives. Thus, the domain of Human Resource Management should not only devise contemporary strategies to attract new employees who will noticeably contribute to the organizations' development but also formulate plans so as to retain the skillful individuals. However, nothing can be accomplished unless the various needs created by the pandemic are recognized. By discovering these needs, companies can take corrective actions to manage staff, with the aim of not developing the phenomena of Silent Dismissal and Silent Resignation. This paper attempts to document and explicate the impact of the pandemic and the new challenges employers and employees face in the workplace as well as how these affect the performance of companies and the accomplishment of their goals. The pandemic could lead to permanent changes in job preferences, business models, and ways of working. In order to understand the above, investigations will be carried out in various articles that mainly mention The Implied Dismissal and the Tacit Waiver. During the formulation of this paper, a survey will be carried out in order record the psychology and performance of employees from the data mining sources Eurostat. The survey will entail data derived from people of various ages and professions who will be asked to answer the questionnaire. The questions will mainly aim at the influence of the pandemic on the personal development and daily lives of employees in Greece. The expected results of this paper are the comparison between the changes in mentality and behavior before the pandemic and after, and how the intense appropriation of technology has influenced the working conditions
