In the present dissertation an amusement, recreational and culture park is designed in the Kolonos district of Athens. Through the exploration of the relationship of analogue and digital games with architecture, the central idea of this project is placed in - between the faculties of architecture and game design. On one hand the initial idea of the park’s plan, is based on converting the residents of Kolonos, and the visitors of the area, into players, for whom three large scale urban games are created , whilst on the other hand , on the distinctive mobility, that games can nest in the dynamic of an architectural form. At the same time, an examination takes place , between the relationship of virtual space, player and games and furthermore, in a smaller scale, two public vortex buildings are designed to host analogue and digital games respectively. Play and games have a universal meaning that is included in everything. Isolating them though as an inherent element of architectural composition, we create new ways of how we perceive space, the elements within it but also the relationships we develop in it.
