During the last years, mainly due to the advancement of the computers and the significant cost reduction of the related technologies, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and educational robotics have gained a lot of attention and became a significant asset in the overall education process of K-12 education. There are several problems in the learning process, mainly related with the lack of practice to the actual devices. This is connected with the high acquisition cost and the limited time frame of the actual education process. In the context of this work, we will develop an Augmented Reality (AR) application, which will enhance the educational process. This will be achieved, by allowing students and the educators to interact with the digital models of the actual devices, learn information about them and eventually ¨place¨ them in the real world. At the same time it will cope with the lack of actual devices and will allow all students, to acquire significant dexterities before actually interacting with the real prototypes. The related software will be developed for Android.
