This research aims to investigate and highlight the characteristics that form spatial experiences in "places of memory". Emphasis is given to the role of the surrounding atmosphere and the character of a place, which combined with modern, technological applications, are able to generate an enhanced experience. The aim is to establish a methodology for the design, composition, and production of spatial experiences through the use of multimedia tools that provide alternative dimensions to the spatial and experiential imprint of a place. At the same time, we will explore the possibility of incorporating enhanced experiences via the introduction of innovative methods of designing the historical material and highlight the most prominent architectural elements. At different times, different parts of the place can whisper their story, through individually orchestrated multimedia facilities.
