Photography is a popular field of profession. Through the use of embedded triggering systems for photographic FLASHES it is feasible to have images of rapidly unfolding phenomena that are impossible for humans to capture with conventional means. However, there is still need for developing more low cost and low latency wireless triggering systems. In this Diploma Thesis we designed such an embedded system based on microcontroller development boards of the Arduino platform, radio frequency transceivers and sensor measurements for the capturing of rapidly unfolding phenomena. Using this system, we shot pictures of popping balloons, breaking objects, objects falling on liquid surface and eggs thrown on the ground. We managed to have triggering with a latency lower than 5 ms, total cost lower than 60$ and wireless communication between every subsystem.
