Predicting climatic conditions is identified as one of the most important challenges of the modern era as highlighted by the World Climate Research Program (WCRP, 2020). This diploma thesis attempts to predict temperature trends on next month, based on a neuro-fuzzy model. The model consists of an ANFIS controller, used to control the system. The system processes temperature data and is also determined by an adaptive neuro-fuzzy ANFIS technique. Using appropriate variables and the trial and error method to set up the model, it turns out that the prediction success rate reaches 94% accuracy. This percentage, based on international literature and studies, is considered very satisfactory in performance. In conclusion, the model for which the work was carried out seems suitable for predicting temperature.
