Content Summary | This study takes place within the framework of the postgraduate program
“Technology and Innovation Management” of the Department of Production
Engineering and Management of Technical University of Crete.
The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between some specific high
performance work practices and important job variables in banking sector.
In the first chapter, we will see analytical the important job variables which will be
examined later, and their relation with banking sector.
After that, in second chapter, there is a review of the high performance work practices and their results (both positive and negative).
In the third chapter, there is a description of IBM SPSS software and the understanding of the multiple regression analysis. Here, they are examined two of the most used methods of multiple regression analysis (Enter and Stepwise methods), and why we choose Stepwise for this survey. Furthermore, there is the whole procedure, step-bystep, for multiple regression analysis using this software.
In the fourth chapter, there is the empirical study. We process the data and explain what we have found. At this point, we, clearly, see the relationship between HPWPs and the important job variables, which are examined. | en |
