Decision-making science has been called in recent years to address the difficulties encountered by the participation of many decision-makers in the decision-making process, a situation that arose due to the decision weight shifting from individuals to groups, regarding companies and other organizations. Known methods evolved in order to manage this problem. Now, having conquered the scientific basis on which group decisions are made, the scientific sector of decision-making is confronted with the difficulty of modeling human thought and language and the verbal variables that are used to evaluate the options in the decision-making process. This diploma thesis presents a new methodology, Group Fuzzy UTASTAR, based on fuzzy logic for decision-making by groups. This method emerged as a combination of modelling techniques used in the fuzzy UTASTAR method with those used in UTASTAR for group decision making.
