Nowadays, our world is related with the Information Technology Systems, the Internet and general the Communications. All these are coupled with recent engineering advances, are paving the way for a new generation of inexpensive sensors and actuators, capable of achieving a high order of spatial and temporal resolution and accuracy. The Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are very important networks and implement many crucial Information Systems related the Data Management. The technology for sensing and control includes sensor arrays, electric and magnetic field sensors, seismic sensors, radio-wave frequency sensors, electro optic and infrared sensors, laser radars, and location and navigation sensors. From the other side , Field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology continues to gain momentum, due to its benefits such us Performance, Time to Market ,Cost, Reliability ,Long-Term and Maintenance. Since their invention by Xilinx in 1984, FPGAs have gone from being simple glue logic chips to actually replacing custom application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and processors for signal processing and control applications. This behavior of FPGA Technology motivates us to investigate further the combination with Wireless Sensor Networks . In this thesis will try to analyze the Compressive existing sensing schemes in the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), and design the network using FPGA-based compressive sensing nodes. It is oriented toward communication developers, managers, and practitioners who seek to understand the benefits of this new technology and plan for its use and deployment.
