Περίληψη

The objective of this paper is to apply theHybrid Efficiency Loss Minimization control scheme [1]into a FOC controlled ACIM motor drive in order toimprove the fast on-line loss minimization control throughflux control,. The proposed controller combines a LossModel Controller (LMC) to control the transient statesand a Fuzzy Logic Search Control system (FLSC) tocontrol steady states. The LMC is based on a simplegeneralized model for various motor types with lowaccuracy, which provides the real time fast grossapproximation of the optimum motor flux, as a functionof the torque and speed operating conditions, not causingsignificant torque ripples. Sequently the FLSC controlsystem, which consists of two interacting fuzzy controllers, provides the real-time refinement of the motor’s fluxadjustment on the basis of search during the steady states.Due to the FLSC the motor’s flux level fluctuates in stepsuntil the measurement of drive’s power losses settles at aminimum. The proposed hybrid controller is incorporatedas an outer loop in an indirect flux oriented vectorcontrolled drive. The model of the suggested controllerdesigned by using the MATLAB/Fuzzy Logic Toolbox®.The control scheme is validated by simulation through theeZdspF2812TM board using Code Composer StudioTM IDEenvironment for a FOC AC Induction Motor (ACIM)drive. In order to validate the importance of the efficiencyoptimization during transient states, the same simulationsare done with and without including the computations byLMC. Experimental results will be available uponconclusion of the laboratory testing by using theeZdspF2812TM.
