In this work we propose and evaluate amultiple access control mechanism for themultiplexing and the integrated delivery of Voice,Video and Data Traffic over a Wireless CellularHigh Speed Packet Switched Network. We focus onthe uplink wireless channel and we investigate thesystem’s performance under a variety of possibleloads, which consist of Voice, actual MPEG-4videoconference streams, and Data Traffic. Ourscheme achieves high aggregate channel throughputwhile preserving the Quality of Service (QoS)requirements of each traffic type.
