ΠερίληψηArchitectural design recommendations of an integrated environment for the seamless integration and intelligent processing of distributed and heterogeneous clinical information is presented. This is achieved via the appropriate customization of XML and data-mining technologies. The basic objective of the work is to ease health-care professionals to orient themselves in the disperse information space and enhance their decision-making capabilities. Preliminary assessment of the development shows the technical feasibility of the proposed approach.en
