ΠερίληψηA computational methodology for improving the reliability performance of power substations is presented. Fault identification techniques have been developed to detect electrical component failures very early. The available operating actions following a detected component failure are deduced. A supply reliability index of substation load-points is introduced and evaluated. The application of the developed methodology on a typical Hellenic high-voltage substation is also presented.en
