Summary

These findings are important for typical site char- acterization, where most samples submitted for analysis (up to 80%) are blanks. The combination of SPME-GC/MS as a screening method will reduce the cost of analysis per sample and limit the production of hazardous laboratory waste method for the trace analysis of explosive(due to the traditional solvent extraction).
