A new method for confidence interval estimation of mass transfer coefficients suitable fordissolving dense nonaqueous phase liquid pools in homogeneous, water-saturated porous media isdeveloped. The method is based on the bootstrap resampling technique in conjunction with a leastsquares regression procedure. The method is successfully applied to experimental data collectedfrom bench scale trichloroethylene pool dissolution experiments.
