This thesis will focus on the study, design, and construction of a regenerative shock absorber for use in enduro e-bicycles. Initially, a theoretical analysis of energy recovery systems from suspension and simulation of the system's operation will be performed to estimate the theoretical performance of the shock absorber. Next, the regenerative system will be designed using appropriate CAD software and an experimental prototype will be constructed. After completion of the construction, the damper will be mounted on a standard bicycle frame and measurements will be taken under real riding conditions to collect data, which will be compared with the theoretical results in order to evaluate the performance of the system in practice.
