This thesis explores the urban regeneration of the Rouf area, a transitional zone located between Piraeus Street and the railway lines. The proposal aims to reconfigure the rigid boundaries that isolate the area by creating an attractive hub for the residents of neighboring districts, transforming the space into a vibrant center of daily interaction, creativity, and activities. The design focuses on shaping a public urban landscape that integrates multifunctional structures. In the peripheral zones of the intervention area, the organization of uses is approached strategically: on the side of the railway lines, a park is developed, functioning as a natural barrier and green lung. Similarly, along Piraeus Street, public uses are introduced to act as filters, mediating between the urban fabric and the intervention area. In the intermediate zones, spaces for movement and rest are organized to enhance flow and interaction, forming a network that functionally and spatially connects the various levels of activities. In this way, the space is not merely a static geography but a dynamic stage of urban life that evolves at the pace of the city.
