Summary

This thesis is a continuation of previous research work aimed at applying the "B4W" immersion toolbox in real life conditions. The aim was to create an immersive theatrical experience in which the participant becomes an integral part of the performance. It is an integrated theatrical production based on Garry Borland's play "Lazarus 2.0" staged at Youca Multipurpose Space in Chania, Crete.Theatre, as a dynamic art that evolves through the coupling of space, narrative, and technology, constantly offers new possibilities for experimentation and immersive experiences. In this context, we were invited to chart our own course, exploring alternative approaches, both in terms of methodology and technological integration.The work places the spectator in a dystopian world where society has become completely alienated from the human core. In a digitized, sterile, and controlled environment, the performance explores the loss of identity and the deep isolation that results from a sense of alienation.The experience is structured in two main stages: the path of entry and the main action space. The composition of the immersive environment was achieved by coupling physical structures with projection mapping techniques, creating layered scenic narratives that enhance the experiential dimension of the performance.
