This thesis aims to implement a series of interventions in the abandoned settlement of Vryses, in Platanos Kissamos, with the goal of its revitalization. It is a Venetian settlement dating back to the 13th century. The 0settlement is developed amphitheatrically due to the terrain's elevation differences and has a network system that connects the residences with points of interest. At the same time, the restoration of abandoned houses is proposed, as well as the creation of a multifunctional space, which includes a restaurant, winery, cobbler's workshop, and carpenter's workshop. These workshops are proposed to revive the old trades once practiced in the settlement. Additionally, a central objective is to give the settlement a functional character to attract visitors and holidaymakers. Regarding the restoration of the existing buildings, natural materials are mainly chosen, with the reinforcement of the existing stone masonry and the reconstruction of the roofs with reinforced concrete.
