Summary

Mixed Reality (MR) is one of the most prominent modern technologies for digital rendering of objects and spatial enhancement, which has come to replace Augmented Reality (AR) and is continuously evolving, both in the realism of its projections and in its fields of application, which are found in various aspects of everyday life due to technological advancements.Through this research paper, an attempt is made to understand the concepts of Immersion and Extended Realities (XR), with a particular focus on Mixed Reality (MR), their historical background, and their practical applications in architecture and gaming, as well as their evolution over time. Additionally, this paper conducts qualitative research in the form of a questionnaire to understand the experience and opinions of various respondent groups, aiming to identify the factors that either promote or hinder the widespread use of Mixed Reality (MR) and to highlight the sectors in which this technology can be applied in everyday practices.
