A research that traces the historical evolution of artistic environments, video games and theme parks, focusing on how these axes approach user immersion. A new functional profile of the individual is composed by molding their roles from the aforementioned axes. Two case studies created as such blends of art exhibitions are studied to reveal the immersive elements they use and how, despite their differences, they approach the experience from the user and creator's perspective, ultimately revealing the role synthesized for the user.
