Content SummaryReflections from objects can interfere with RFID localization. This work offers a method for the joint estimation of reflectors' and tags' locations, without any prior knowledge. When block coherence is relatively small and wall reflection rel-atively strong, the method localizes the tag and the wall/reflector with impressive accuracy, in the order of 5 cm. Narrowband measurements, spread in space can improve the performance of the algorithm, which is important for narrowband UHF RFID. Experimental results also indicate cases where the performance of the method degrades. Hopefully, this work will spark interest on “classifying” the environment as line-of-sight or multipath-rich, discovering the order of reflections for the latter case.en
