The subject of the study is a riverside central area in the city of Larissa. More specifically, it examines the relationship between the city and the river and the interaction between the water element and the urban fabric. To upgrade the selected area, the intercity bus station is relocated to a peripheral zone, and in its place, a School of Fine Arts is established. The cultural character of the neighboring uses, combined with the School and its accompanying facilities, renews the city center and redefines the relationship with the natural environment. The project highlights the importance of the interaction between the urban and natural environments and the creative value that can arise from their integration.
