| Content Summary | Ο σχεδιασμός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας αφορά στη δημιουργία ενός κέντρου πολιτισμού και κατ’ επέκταση την ανάπλαση του περιβάλλοντα χώρου στην πόλη του Ναυπλίου και πιο συγκεκριμένα στην περιοχή του σιδηροδρομικού σταθμού. Η στρατηγική θέση της περιοχής, η οποία αποτελεί τη σύνδεση μεταξύ της Παλιάς με τη Νέα πόλη και το αστικό αυτό ανεκμετάλλευτο κενό συντέλεσαν στην πρόταση δημιουργίας ενός κέντρου πολιτισμού αλλά και ενός νέου πράσινου τοπίου το οποίο θα λειτουργεί σαν <<πέρασμα>> προσελκύοντας με αυτόν τον τρόπο τόσο τους μόνιμους κατοίκους αλλα και τους επισκέπτες της πόλης. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τη φυσιογνωμία του εδάφους της πόλης, των λόφων του Παλαμηδίου αλλα και της Ακροναυπλίας προτείνεται ένα κτίριο του οποίου τα δώματα είναι βατά, κεκλιμένα και λειτουργούν ως χώροι διάβασης, στάσης αλλα και θέασης προς όλες τις κατευθύνσεις (λοφος,θάλασσα,Παλια πόλη, Νέα πόλη). Το κέντρο πολιτισμού θα στεγάζει χρήσεις όπως· εκθεσιακούς χώρους, αίθουσα θεάτρου, μικρότερες αίθουσες παρουσιάσεων και συνεδριάσεων, bookshop και αναψυκτήριο. | el |
| Content Summary | The design of the present thesis concerns the creation of a cultural centre and by extension the regeneration of the surrounding area in the city of Nafplio and more specifically in the area of the railway station. The strategic location of the area, which is the link between the Old and the New Town and this unused urban void contributed to the proposal for the creation of a cultural centre and a new green landscape that will thus act as a pole of attraction for both residents and visitors of the city. Taking into account the physiognomy of the city's terrain, the hills of Palamidi and Acronauplia, a building is proposed whose roofs are low, sloping and function as transit, staging and viewing areas to all directions (hill, sea, Old Town, New Town). The cultural centre will house uses such as: exhibition spaces, a theatre hall, smaller presentation and meeting rooms, a bookshop and a refreshment room. | en |
